Maya Bay, The Beach, Thailand

Thailand The Beach

Hey, i wanted to share my experience and photo's of my visit to Maya Bay, the featured exotic beach in the national park of Thailand.

Anyone who has been there will agree with me how jaw dropping the landscape is!!!!

I have uploaded some pics that i took, believe me, it was hard to get a camera onto the island, because from the boat to the island you have to swim in water, and the only way (if you do not carry any kind of waterproof bag) is to hold the camera above your head whilst feet paddling to the island! You are not warned of this prior to the visit!

Here is a small archive of photo's taking you step by step through island.....

The Entrance way onto the 'the beach'

Ok so now we make our way toward the forest

Maya Bay please

Beautiful Landscape Thai Fore

the jungle is vibrant!

Thats me on the beech, it was at a touristy time, but when the bay is clear its amazing! You can get packages from Kho Phi Phi island that lets you spend the night on the actual Maya Bay!

This is a must visit if you ever journey out to Thailand!

The amount of activities you can do around this area is brilliant, look at my small list for a taste of what you can do...... and what i did! Good times.....
  • Snorkelling
  • Shark Diving
  • Coral Exploration
  • Boat Trips
  • Visiting Monkey Island
  • Diving
  • Jet Ski, Paragliding
The island you leave to reach the Maya Bay island is Kho Phi Phi. Here you will find all your needs for everything you want to do while you stay on the island. Make sure you shop around, as you will always get it cheaper somewhere else if you look right and don't jump at the first sight of what you think is a good deal for a trip or activity. I made this mistake and spent 1200 bhat (roughly £22) on a boat+snorkelling trip when later i found out from the people i met on the boat, that they got there's for 400 bhat! Damn lol. Trip was worth it though anyway.....

I will be updating this post as i go along, there are still many photo's to put up, and stories to tell.
